“this is an alarm stay where you are. this is an alarm don't go too far..”

Welcome to the ARC

Five years ago, the world changed. Convergence occurred, and one of the governments' secrets was out. Anomalies were appearing, all over the world. Portals to another time. There was now irrefutable evidence that prehistoric life existed. Anomaly Research Centres were sanctioned around the world, all following the example of the London ARC in dealing with creature incursions.

The Anomaly Research Centre in London keeps in contact with every ARC around the world, and there is ARC rapid-response teams in key positions across the United Kingdom. The current team is as tight-knit as the one at the London ARC during Convergence, with former SAS Lieutenant Agravain Beaton leading the Alpha team. The London ARC teams go as far afield as the Shetlands and northern Europe.

While the secret of anomalies, and prehistoric creatures may be out, there are still plenty of secrets being kept at the ARC. Since the previous attempt to partly privatise the ARC dealings didn't go so well, it is now back fully under the umbrella of the Home Office. Nathaniel Grayson, a former Major in the British Army, was hand-picked by the Minister to run the ARC seamlessly. Creature incursions are dealt with swiftly; nothing is more important than the safety of the public.

Just remember, if you see a creature or an anomaly - call your local Anomaly Hotline.
